The Art of Decision

Without the power to decide, a man’s thoughts and dreams are like vapour blown in the wind. He goes nowhere until he decides where to go.

Life is made up of little and big decisions, and how a man decides determines the direction of his life.

Decision is the spark that ignites action. Until a decision id made nothing happens.

Decision is the courageous facing of issues, knowing that if they are faced problems will remain forever unanswered.

Decision does not straddle the fence. It takes a firm stand on one side or the other.

Decision can lead to the mountaintop. It can also cause a man to fall to the valley below. But without decision no mountains are climbed.

Decision is often the difference between greatest and mediocrity. In every man’s life there comes a time when he must search for a cause, a work, an ideal to which he can give himself. Whether he says “Yes” or “No” to the challenge will determine his future.

Decision is the freeing of one’s self from morass of fear, doubt, anxiety and uncertainty. It is the courage to risk a wrong decision rather than make no decision at all.

Decision is not blind chance. It is focusing the power of intelligence, meditation and prayer on the thing to be decided.

Decision need not always be made at once. Deciding to making delay making a decision is a d
decision itself.

Decision awakens the spirit of man. It gives him a goal, a purpose, a reason for being alive. Once a major decision is made, carrying it out becomes a matter of will and courage and dedication.

The great decision comes first, the great work follows.

Decide now who and what you will serve. Decision is the first step toward going somewhere.
