I cooked it for breakfast this morning.

Chicken soup and Kiew Tiew
bean sprouts
pickled mustard (chopped)
fried chili powder

It is a bit hot because of chili.

banana bud salad



Boil the banana bud.
Chop into pieces as you like.
Crush garlic and fried it in a pan together with turmeric powder.
Place banana bud in a bowl, add salt, fried garlic, sesame seeds, chopped chili and lemon juice.
And mix all well.
Yummy..enjoy.
That is vegetarian food.

fried red bean (Mandalay pe` kyaw)

Place red bean in a bowl and add water at night.
Leave it for one night.
Boil the read bean.

Crash the red bean using a spoon.

Crash ginger and add it to red bean. Put a little bit of salt and one cup of sticky rice powder.
And mix altogether. Heat the pan and cook the cooking oil, and fry the read bean.


Fried red bean with coffee.
That is very nice breakfast for Myanmar people.

vege curry

potato, radish, gourd

okra (lady finger)


crush 4 cloves of garlic and one onion.
Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Add garlic and onion together with turmeric powder and chili powder for 2 or 3 minutes. Add tomato and pyin taw thein leaves, cook for 4 minutes.
Add vegetables together with salt.
When vege is cooked, add tamarind with water and garam masala, and cook.


Ready to serve.

cut one bean curd into pieces and deep fried.

Boil the bean sprout. Put bean curd, bean sprout, salt, friend onion, tamarind, chili powder and a little bit of cooked oil in a bowl and mix well.
