bottle brush

Bottle Brush Tree in our uni compound.
I love them so much since I was 4 years old. I remember my childhood in Pyin Oo Lwin.
I played with those bottle brush leaves and flowers.
It smells nice.

Scientific name : Callistemon

They are closely related to paperbark melaleucas, which also have 'bottlebrush' shaped flower spikes.

Most Bottlebrushes occur in the east and south-east of Australia.
