Snow Mountains in Myanmar
The pictures above are Mt. Khakhaborazi (5889 metres), which is the highest mountain in Myanmar and in Southeast Asia.
Puta-O and Mulashidi
Puta-O is another town in Kachin State surrounded by snow peaked mountains. It is cool the whole year round and there are many varieties of citrus fruits grown in the orchards. It is the nearest town to the base camp for climbing Mt. Khakhaborazi (5889 metres), which is the highest mountain in Myanmar and in Southeast Asia.
Mulashidi village is nearby Puta-O. The ethinic groups "Lesu and Rawan" live there.
The picture above (right) is Mulashidi Bridge , which is made of rope. The bridge is across "MuLaShiDi" icy cold stream.
I visited there in 1993. I had a great time there.
Kachin State (Northernmost tip of Myanmar)
Kachin State lies in the northernmost tip of Myanmar with snow-capped mountain ranges and temperate forests.
Kachin State is famous for Jade mines.
In Kachin State, Putao, MachanBaw and SumPraBum are beautiful mountain resorts. Gold mines can be seen at Nanma and near Bamaw.

Vanda
This Vanda orchid is originated from Myanmar , Pyin Oo Lwin ( Mandalay Division). We call it " Moe Lone Hmaing".
Now it is one of the very famous orchids in the world.
Tha Pyay
This plant is abundant in Malaysia. We , Myanmar people called it "ThaPyay"
The young leaves are red in colour, old leaves are green.
So cute!
My mommy bought it from the nursery nearby airport and she planted it.

She is myanmar actress by the name "Eaindra Kyaw Zin".
She looks graceful in traditional dress as a Princess.
